First Ride of 2007
Chicago saw some unbelievably beautiful weather over the weekend, and I had the pleasure of spending some quality time with my bike for the first time since, well, Death Valley 2006. Seriously, I remember arriving back at the ranch after approximately 11 hours on the road, and someone whisking my bike away to load on the truck, while simultaneously handing me a beer... before I had even clicked my shoes out of the pedals. Now that's service.
My first ride of 2007 was about 17 miles along the lakefront, complete with gusty winds. I even got a bit of sunburned cheeks and my first biker's tan lines of the year. Bring it on... only 207 days until this year's Ride....

Yeah, yeah... I gotta get my bike out. My excuse has been can't ride by myself without continuous glucose sensor. Now that I've got it, I bet start using it!!!!! This weekend should be nice as well. Congrats on a timely start to the ride season.
